Bo’s Emergency Surgery

Hi everyone! Michael and Catherine Natalello were just married on 5 Oct 2023. Days before their wedding, Boba Fett (Bo) - a young 6 year old Staffordshire terrier and chihuahua mix was injured while running around with pure excitement and slid into a door frame. A day later his back legs were paralyzed and went into emergency spinal surgery. Bo remains in high spirits and is patiently awaiting coming home to mom and dad.

Bo was supposed to be the ring bearer for the wedding, but was in the hospital for the entirety of the time. With his black and white fur coat, it was only fitting that he is their “tuxedo puppy” with an added “Bo” tie.

Bo has been Michael and Cat’s running, camping, and exploring buddy since he was rescued from the Florida animal rescue in August of 2017.

The Natalello family is preparing to move to South Korea for Michael’s military career and have been significantly set back with the costs of Bo’s surgery. They have already paid $13,000 in surgical costs and there are further complications. Michael continues to serve in the United States Air Force and has been in for 10 years with 2 deployments. Bo helped heal Mike’s mental health when he returned from a year in East Africa, he truly is his anchor in life.
