Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my cousin Alyssa, who is currently in the ICU in the Philippines. She was recently diagnosed with Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) – Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN), a rare and life-threatening condition that causes severe skin reactions and affects vital organs.
Alyssa is a second-year Medicine student at FEU-NRMF, with dreams of becoming a doctor and helping others heal. She has always been caring and dedicated, but now she’s the one fighting for her life.
She has already undergone surgery on her face and upper body due to complications from the condition. We are hoping that the rashes will not progress further and that she continues to recover with the help of her medical team. Her strength and resilience continue to inspire everyone around her.
Unfortunately, the cost of her ICU stay, surgery, and medications continues to grow each day, and our family’s savings are no longer enough to cover her care.
Your donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward:
ICU stay and life-saving medical treatments
Surgery, wound care, and recovery support
❤️ Medications and hospital bills
