Hi, my name is Katie. On Tuesday 27th January, my cat Jasper went outside at around 3pm as he usually does. However, came home 2 hours later with a severe eye injury that led him to be rushed to a vet. Unfortunately, we later found out that someone had deliberately shot him in the eye with a gun which meant that a ball bearing got stuck behind his eye. This has now led to him being on heavy pain killers, hospitalised and had to have surgery for the removal of his eye. We had insurance for emergencies like this but unfortunately only around half of the amount is covered by the insurance. If you are able to give any amount to contribute to Jasper’s vet bills, we would be incredibly grateful. Thank you.
