House Fire

Hi, my name is Jovanna Bernal, and I am starting this Go Fund Me on behalf of my grandmother, and my family.

On Thursday, December 7, 2023, my grandmother’s house and my family’s childhood home, caught fire at around 4pm. Unfortunately, along with our home, we lost 2 of our dogs in the fire.

Any money donated through this fundraiser will go towards basic necessities, such as: food, clothes, medication, toiletries, etc. As well as: the cremation of our dogs, and baby necessities my sister lost in the fire, for her son she is expecting any day now.

We have been extremely blessed with the overwhelming support from our community. And my family and I are beyond grateful for everything the Chula Vista Fire Department did to contain the fire as quickly as possible, and for everything they did to try and give our dogs a chance at survival.

Lastly, I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart in advance for anyone who takes the time to read our story, and for your generosity.
