The Guerrero Family

Hi, my name is Jen Gajardo and we are hoping to help fundraise for someone who has been a very special friend to the many people that love her and her family.

My friend, Jen Guerrero, and her family experienced a heartbreaking tragedy during Christmas break when she lost her 17-year-old son and only child, Jovani.

Jovani Alexander Guerrero passed away suddenly of natural causes on December 24, 2022.

Jovani was a loving, caring young man who greatly loved and was loved by his family. He always made the effort to offer a hug to anyone who might need it. He also had a sense of humor that could lift anyone's spirits.

Jovani was a gifted musician. He loved playing his viola and could pick up any instrument and play a tune. He was in the Honors Orchestra during his short time at Garland High School. He also was gifted in math and science and looked forward to becoming a pilot someday.

His impact on many was evident in the out of prayers and love received by his family. Some of his friends sent letters to his family to tell stories of the young man he was and who he was becoming.

Jovani has been greatly missed by many and will remain in the hearts of all that loved and knew him.
