A fighting chance

"Have you ever feared about recieving a call that something tragic has happened to a loved one"?. Last week that fear became a reality, my nephew Aidan had been Airlifted to Tufts University Trauma center in Boston. Aidan had a significant fall causing multiple injuries. He was placed in the pediatric ICU with my sister Abby and my amazing, supportive, Brother in law Peter by his side. Aidan is a true fighter and has made much progress in the course of this crucial last week. He has had to undergo several surgeries for his injuries, which he has been monitored closely. The other day he was able to be transferred to a step down unit but this is just the beginning of a long road to recovery. He will need major physical therapy rehabilitation unfortunately due to the severity of his injury and is restricted to walk for now. Aidan, as we all know, has a great passion and love for playing ice hockey. Getting back on the ice again will be one of his many drives to persevere through this.
As we all can Imagine this will take alot of time, effort and support for Abby and Peter who have not left his side. I'm creating this go fund me page to try and help support them through this unimaginable time. With the love and support of friends and family to gather around them and share this link we can help alleviate just a fraction of some of their financial burden during this time of need.
