My name is Maili, and my family and I are going through something we never expected. Recently, my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Our world has completely changed, and suddenly our days are filled with doctor appointments, tests, and trying to understand what comes next.

We’ve been told she needs to travel for specialized pancreatic cancer care, and the costs surrounding that have become overwhelming. We’re doing everything we can to stay focused on helping her fight, but the financial stress has become extremely heavy.

My mom is 61, active, loving, and one of the strongest people I know. She is the kind of person who shows up for everyone. She has always put others first, and she deserves every ounce of support and hope we can give her now. Watching someone you love go through this is heartbreaking, but we are staying hopeful and fighting right alongside her.

This is only the beginning of a long road to recovery, but I know my mom has the strength, faith, and determination to get through this.
