Ride for the fallen.

On 15/06/25 two firefighters from Bicester tragically lost their lives in the line of duty. As fellow firefighters from South Yorkshire, we are undertaking a powerful tribute to honour their sacrifice.

We will be cycling 215km in a single day, from South Yorkshire to Oxford, carrying a South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue flag filled with messages of support from across our service. This flag will be hand-delivered to Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue in a gesture of solidarity, respect, and remembrance.

This isn’t just a physical challenge. It’s a journey representing the unity of the firefighting family. We’re asking for your support to raise funds for the families of those lost.
