Clinton, Rachel, and Keith Myers lost their anchor on Monday, February 10th when Diana (Rainey) Myers lost her battle to cancer. Also, Clinton lost a dear extended member of his own family, Pappi, the week before. The Myers family has endured an intense battle since Diana was originally diagnosed in October and Rachel is extremely grateful for the flexibility that Medical Solutions has extended to her during this time, enabling her to be in Shenandoah IA/Omaha NE @ UNMC to guide her mother’s care.


Diana lived a life of selflessness, love, and care for others. Known for giving unconditional love to all and finding joy in every corner of the room, Diana most loved being a mother to Clinton and Rachel. Rachel has recounted story after story of the sacrifices that Diana made for them while growing up in small-town Iowa. They didn’t have much, but Diana always made sure that her kids had everything they needed. She ran her own business from home and sacrificed so that they could have better lives.

 
Clinton’s close friend Pappi fell ill last year, and Clinton became his sole caretaker.  He passed away just days before Diana from pneumonia. Clinton counted him as family and unfortunately had to pay for his cremation/services the day he flew to Omaha to say goodbye to his mama.
