Recently Tim Staker was affected by a seemingly overnight nightmare. He had been having health problems for a few weeks. Including a first-time seizure the week before Christmas 2018, at age 50! After a CT scan came back clear, normal life resumed for Tim for some time. Forgetfulness, irritability and lack of depth to conversations quickly overtook him weeks after the seizure. A long night spent in the ER and multiple tests finally determined the prognosis; Brain Cancer. Tim was immediately told that without surgery his time was very limited, 6 months or less. Within a week he was operated on to remove the tumor. After surgery it was quickly brought to everyone’s attention that the full amount of the tumor could not be removed. What they had found was an aggressive stage-4 cancer known as Glioblastoma. Tim was told that his time is limited but that has failed to bring him down. He has kept a positive outlook and his love of God. Many medical bills are sure to ensue as well as time away from work and any home healthcare that is needed. I am asking for donations to help with these costs for him and his wife as they endure this testing time. Thank you.
