I’m raising money for Mia and her parents, Stefania and Dennis. Mia was born with Noonan syndrome and three congenital heart defects. She’s undergone 5 open heart surgeries in her three short years of life. Her Dad works with my mom and my mom follows her progress very closely. That’s what brings me here writing this. Mia and her parents want nothing more than to be happy and together, especially as the holiday season approaches. However Mia is still in for a fight with physical therapy and keeping her oxygen and infection levels at a manageable level, she’ll be in the hospital another few weeks. She is in New York but Mia and her parents are from CT. Dennis is here working and doing his best to be there while Stefania is staying at hotel nearby. At first they were receiving help and now it is out of pocket. As you can imagine that is a very tough strain on their finances. With their daughter in the hospital they shouldn’t have to worry about money and where Stefania will stay while Mia gets better. My hope is that enough people will see this and donate how ever much they see fit and we can help take the financial stress off Stefania and Dennis.
