I am Dottie Kilpatrick, blessed to be the mother of Tara Williams Burton.  On September 18th, Tara received the news that all women dread to hear- she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

I have decided to start this gofundme account for Tara who really needs our support. Tara is a person who always helps others- she would never ask for help for herself!Tara is a working mother of two incredible teenage boys. She is a beautiful person with a beautiful spirit and brings joy to everyone around her. Tara is loved by anyone who has ever met her. She has always been there to help others and now she needs our help!

She needs assitance with financing her surgery. The surgery to remove the cancer and to reconstruct is scheduled for October 23rd. Tara is required to pay a $3000 deductible BEFORE her surgery on October 23rd.  There will be another $11,000 due after the surgery. 

We will find out on the day of the surgery if the cancer has spread . I will update this page as soon as we know.

At this time, Tara needs to focus her strenth and energy on her health. She does not need to be burdened with the stress of financing her recovery.

Let's raise this $13,000 for Tara! I KNOW that between everybody we know, we will raise this $13,000 with no problem.
