Help Zeke Beat Parvo

Donation protected
We adopted Zeke on July 29, 2015. We don't know much about his back story other than he was dumped from a car at the Exxon gas station on Falls and Coldspring. A caring neighbor found him there and we were thrilled to adopt him from her.

Zeke started to get very sick just a day or so after we brought him home. Today we got the unfortunate news that he has parvovirus, a potentially deadly disease for puppies and especially dangerous for one as underweight as Zeke.

The good news is that he has a great chance of pulling through! The vets at the animal ER say that a puppy in his condition has a 75-80% chance of making it. However, he will need aggressive in-patient treatment to get better.

Alex and I knew adopting a puppy would be a big financial responsibility but we weren't expecting it to be this much and this fast. His care is expected to be somewhere between $2,000 - $4,000, so our fund goal is to raise half of that. Please know that every little bit (even just sharing with your Facebook friends) counts! Before he started showing symptoms, Zeke was a happy, cuddly and incredibly smart little puppy. We can't wait to have him back to his normal self!
