Hello, I am Jennifer Smith - I am the mom of 5 adult children and the Nana to 2 precious grandchildren.

Let me introduce my daughter Amber who is an amazing artist!! She loves to work her magic with face painting for children, painting on multiple surfaces to be a cherished addition to many homes (including murals and other amazing masterpieces) and enjoys sharing her talent with all who will allow her to. She was recently accepted into the Esthetician program which is a lifelong dream and she's extremely excited to be a part of. Heartbreakingly she recently was diagnosed with colon cancer and as you can imagine at the very young age of 24 was completely blown away and has many questions as to why her? Amber is a very loving, fun, and inspirational young lady whose heart is bigger than even she knows!! She goes above and beyond to help everyone that she loves - so as you can imagine none of us who love her understand why or especially why her?

While she is undergoing chemotherapy and treatment (lasting for the next 6 months to a year) she will be unable to work in order to support herself, she will not be able to drive herself to and from treatments so travel expenses are needed, as well as her needs for her schooling to be successful. So, I am pleading as a mom asking for help for my daughter. I'm setting up this go fund me in order to help her maintain her independence and be able to somewhat remain on her own. Currently we do not know all of the expenses that she will face in the months ahead and with no medical insurance or government assistance what she gets thru fundraisers will be all that she has. Nobody should have to undergo this!! Especially someone so young and with such an amazing spirit!!
