Help RAAG On Their Journey to Nationals!

Hi, we are Rutgers RAAG, an all gender South Asian fusion A Cappella group at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. For many years (and many generations of performers), we have committed a large portion of our extracurricular time to creating and singing harmonious arrangements that merge the beauty of Western and South Asian music. We've had the opportunity to spread our music through an album, weddings, national competition stages, etc.

In the coming months, we will compete in the final round national competition (All-American Awaaz) conducted by Desi A Cappella Association, traveling to Chicago to sing alongside the top 8 collegiate groups in the United States. For the past few years, we have established ourselves as a top contender, consistently winning competitions and earning a spot in the final round national competition (All-American Awaaz). This season we have competed at two Desi Acappella competitions, placing into the Top 8 teams in the country. alAs well as achieved 2nd place at our ICCA regional competition and moving onto the semifinal round.

I, along with many team members, want one shot at achieving our dream of winning first at nationals. Unfortunately, we are struggling to get sufficient funding from our University to cover travel and hotel costs.

Thus, we reach out to you - members of our community who care about our cause and our dream. With your help, Rutgers RAAG can have the opportunity to shoot our shot at nationals in Chicago.
