Baby Oliver was born peacefully at home on April 15th 2025 into the loving arms of his parents Hannah and Luke. He was seemingly perfectly healthy until the wee hours of the morning April 17th when he had a grand mal seizure. Hannah and Luke rushed him to Children’s hospital right away where he was admitted and has undergone dozens of in depth tests including blood work, a 4 hour MRI, and a spinal tap to name just a few.

Testing has been in a roller coaster style with scary possible prognosis typically turning negative thank God. So far, Oliver has been diagnosed with epilepsy. He has a partial fusion in the frontal lobe of his brain and a separate partial fusion in the hind brain. He will be going home on an antiseizure medicine and will require follow up visits with Neurology, endocrinology, and ophthalmology. He may possibly be placed on a long term diaretic pending further testing.

Hannah and Luke’s medical insurance deductible is a whopping $6,000 and they will have specialist visits to pay for after discharge as well as medications and such. Luke has been driving back and forth to Children’s hospital (about 2 hours every day) to also help tend to their 2 daughters Eloise and Juniper who are with family for the time being. So lots of gas costs and Hannah and Luke also have to eat, of course. So with that being said, I’m setting a goal of $8,000 for them. Their costs will likely exceed well over this in the coming months but they greatly appreciate any donations to help them with these bills. They have enough worry happening with baby Oliver, the last thing they should have to worry about right now is money. Thank you all so much ❤️
