I am fundraising for my Daughter’s 18 year old boyfriend who has experienced a very traumatic event over the Christmas break. I am keeping his name and photograph anonymous to maintain his privacy and dignity as best I can.

On Christmas morning he woke to find his Mum suddenly deceased in the family home. He has no siblings and was home alone with his Mum at the time. This was a shock as she was only 38. We are now supporting him to find a home for himself through the local council. In addition we have been told he can’t take his dog with him it also cannot be re-homed with anyone else due to the breed.

As you can imagine the stress of losing your Mum, your home and potentially your beloved dog all over the Christmas period has been a terrible time.

We are supporting him as best we can, he has been living with us since Christmas Day, but we are also reaching out to family and friends and anyone else who is able to donate to help support him financially to get set up in his flat and to maybe raise enough funds to go towards rent on a small house for 6 months that might allow him to keep his dog for the time being until he can consider his options.

He is a hardworking person who is not entitled to any benefits as he works full time.
