Help Beat the Odds: Cure Darcy's Cancer

I grew up as a younger sibling, and as is often the case, I looked up to my older sister, Darcy. Whatever her trials and tribulations, no matter how hard the road, I watched her persevere and emerge a more wisened Self. No matter how often she fell, failed, or had setbacks, she emerged resilient, courageous, and steadfast. This was how I learned, at an early age, that beauty was not skin deep. Over time, her hardships competed for her beauty, but she rose to the occasion and succeeded.

On September 28th, 2022, my sister and best friend, Darcy, was diagnosed with cancer with metastasis to the bone, liver, and lungs. On September 30th, Darcy had surgery to alleviate the areas cancer had eaten away at, to give her tissues a chance at mending. She has not been deemed a favorable candidate for chemotherapy due to a liver infection, found incidentally and severe malnourishment. Finally, she was given the option to proceed with chemo with very high risks or hospice.

Being mentored by my sister for so many years has afforded me my version of resilience, courage, and determination. I believe that the odds can be beaten. After consulting an Integrative Oncologist to devise an alternative plan for rehabilitation, Darcy has been on an evidence-based Gerson Protocol since Sunday, October 30th, in conjunction with Mistletoe injections. In this small amount of time, her appetite has increased twofold, her pain has decreased, her sleep has improved, and she has begun reporting, as of November 4th, that she is feeling "more vital."

The plan is to continue increasing the dosage of her Mistletoe injections, add high-dose IV Mistletoe, and begin high-dose IV Vitamin C. We want to work with the Gerson clinic remotely until they determine she is strong enough to be transported to the onsite facility. Darcy believes in these therapies and is already benefiting from the hourly nutrition regimen and mistletoe injections.

I am asking for funds to support her treatment with the current standard protocol, transportation costs to care for her, and onsite treatment at the Gerson Clinic.

Financial support, prayers, and love are received with much gratitude. Thank you for reading and for being part of this journey.

With love and gratitude,
Ariana Langdon
