I’m starting this GoFundMe to support my mother-in-law and family with medical bills and future expenses for her husband, Paul — Daulton's dad.

Paul suffered a sudden medical emergency that led to cardiac arrest from internal bleeding caused by an ulcer. After emergency surgery and multiple blood transfusions, doctors were able to save his life — but he suffered severe brain injury due to lack of oxygen.

Since then, Paul has faced one challenge after another: infections, blood clots in his lungs, and now life support in the ICU.

After more than a month of intensive medical care, they realized that Paul had no insurance to cover these overwhelming costs.
