By land and by air, for the past 30 plus years, Daniela has been answering this community's 911 calls. The time sadly once again has come for us to answer her call and give back. Almost two and half years ago I reached out to this amazingly supportive community asking for your support. Despite Daniels’s German stubbornness and my pride, I’m once again going to ask for your HELP!

Back in February 2020, I posted the cancer was GONE!! We all breathed a sigh of relief and had many celebrations. In July of this year, Daniela wasn’t feeling quite herself and I had to force her to the ER. (Ok almost bodily pick her up and put her in my truck) Daniela had developed a large pericardial tamponade. Yes, you read that correctly. Daniela was rushed to the cath lab where they drained 1500cc from her pericardial sac. Sadly, this was found to be the result of some cancer cells going rogue. Daniela started chemotherapy shortly after this and once again is KICKING cancers ass! She never missed a day of work or lost that infectious smile for life. November 18th, Daniela suffered a grand mal seizure shortly after shift change, which resulted in a mild stroke. Daniela will be out of work for some time as she continues her chemotherapy and adjusts to her new medication regimen. I know Daniela would never ask any of you for help, so I’m going to. Once again, I’m asking you to help, lets show Daniela that NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE!!
