Hello friends and family,

Last week, our lives changed in an instant.

My sister, Alexis, suffered a serious fall down her stairs, resulting in three fractures in her neck and two additional compression fractures in her lower back. It was an incredibly frightening experience, and one that could have been so much worse.

She is now home and beginning her recovery, but the road ahead will not be easy. Alexis will be in an immobilizing neck brace for the next 8 weeks and is unable to work during this time.

Unfortunately, she had just started a new job and was still in her probationary period, meaning she does not have extended medical coverage or additional benefits to support her through this.

We are reaching out for support, whether that be financial, sharing this page, or simply keeping her in your thoughts and prayers.

Having already experienced deep loss in our family with the passing of our brother, this brought a level of fear that is hard to put into words. We are beyond grateful that she is still here with us and, incredibly, facing this with strength and positivity despite everything she is going through.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping Alexis access the care she needs, including physiotherapy to regain her strength and mobility once her brace is removed, as well as easing the financial stress during this difficult time.
