Where to start... It all started to reveal itself on November 30th. Roger went to the ER to see about some chest pain. After hours and days of testing, the results were in. Generally, we have 3 valves to our heart. Roger only has two. This requires the doctors to put in a metal one. To make matters worse, he will need a double bypass on his arteries at the same time.
Before, the heart procedure can happen, the doctors are going to work on his teeth. This procedure is required to insure no bacteria will get in his bloodstream during the heart surgery.
Roger is a loving husband and a wonderful father. He is amazing server at Midtown Family Restaurant 2 in Iowa City. He also is involved with the local theater programs. Roger loves to build props, as well as act. Unfortunately, these do not provide health insurance. Not only are the bills piling up but, he will be out of work for a few months.
