This is Angel; he just turned 16! He was overall a healthy, loving, sweet, and outgoing kid who had Down syndrome. Sadly, on Friday, November 7, 2025, Angel woke up with a tummy ache and had an accident on himself. After cleaning up and showering, of course, he wasn't running a fever, and due to the season, everyone assumed it was just a bug. So, he was dropped off at his uncle's house while his parents went to work. Later, his mother, Maranda, was called frantically, saying Angel had fainted and stopped breathing. Admittedly, CPR was started, and an ambulance was called, but unfortunately, it took 38 minutes to revive Angel. Due to that long period without oxygen, his brain had swollen up, and he was put into a coma. 24 hours later, he was no longer showing signs of brain activity. They said he had a heart attack and had rino virus… but can’t find the underline reason for any of it and After an additional 24 hours of monitoring, unfortunately, he still had no activity. So, after talking, they have decided to do two last tests to confirm he was, in fact, brain dead. After a lot of crying and talking, Angel's parents have decided to donate his organs and hopefully save two more lives! We all know that's what Angel would have wanted.
