Hi, I am reaching out to see if I can get assistance paying for mounting medical expenses. As most of you know Chef Charlie has spent a great deal of his career helping others. Mastering over 20+ years of sobriety he felt compelled to give back to those struggling with addiction and/or being homeless. Charlie started Heaven Headquarters Street Ministry and together we spent weekends serving the homeless population in the Laguna Beach, Santa Ana, San Clemente and Oceanside communities.

In August, 2022 Charlie was diagnosed with bile duct cancer. Left untreated the cancer has spread to his organs and lymph nodes. As of this week he will be moved to a hospice group home for 24/7 medical care.

We have encountered some real life angels on this journey who have assisted, guided and provided care at no cost. Charlie is without insurance so there will be an undetermined amount of medical bills that I will have to pay.
