Everything lost in Apartment fire

Hi, my name is Zoe Carl and I lost everything I have in an apartment fire last night. I’m out of town on a family vacation and now have no home to return to. I’ve lost everything from my clothes, to my grandmother’s engagement ring, childhood photos, and all my tools for my small business, freelance makeup. I was very lucky to be out of state but at the same time feeling extremely helpless. This was my first apartment, I started with an empty living room and built myself from the ground up over the last year to be where I am now, just to have it all washed away by someone else’s mistake. I have a cat and she is safe, thanks to my best friends who ran into a burning building to get her just 30 minutes before they tore the building down with her inside. Ultimately, it’s time to rebuild and figure out the next steps. Words can’t express the gratitude from everyone’s thoughts and prayers, anything else is beyond appreciated.
