I'm in a bit of trouble here and I am humbly asking my family and friends for help. Those of you who know me well know that I don't ask for help or seek assistance unless something is on fire or falling off. Usually I keep to myself and no one really knows what's going on but this is different. I've hit money trouble for the past 2 years since my mom passed. Her passing was something that was totally unexpected and not planned for. While I was able to get by last year, it was barely down to the wire. This year I am struggling even more because I was laid off back in November with no way to save or plan for such a disaster. So now I am backed into a corner as far as the house taxes go. To keep the house out of a tax sale and to keep it from being foreclosed on, I'm trying to raise the bare minimum.  The maximum I need is $8,500 but I will continue to cover the difference on my own with what I have. I appreciate anything and everything that is given, please believe that. Never in my life have I asked for financial assistance, taken out a loan either personal or from the bank nor have I relied on anyone ever to assist in paying my bills. So perhaps  you can imagine how difficult this is for me. I don't want to lose the house my parents worked so hard for. After this financial hump, I will be in a better position to take care of things on my own but I have to be realistic now and admit that I cannot do it myself in the position that I'm in money-wise. I will scan any receipts I receive from monies withdrawn from this campaign for proof of payment so you know exactly where everything is going.
