Support Zenith Behavioral Health and Wellness Launch

Zenith Behavioral Health and Wellness (Zenith) is the vision and brainchild of me, Dr. Latoria Boyland. The idea of serving my community in an impactful way was born while I was interning to be an RN, and was assigned to a Psychiatric unit at a hospital. I saw firsthand that there was a dire need for quality care for the underserved community as it relates to Mental Health services, and I immediately shifted my focus to psychiatric nursing. Prior to nursing, I worked in the Mental Health field where I counseled and treated individuals with mental health issues as well as alcohol and drug dependencies. After over 15 years of working in the field, the strong desire to provide quality, non-judgmental, and compassionate Mental Health care is still in my heart.

In November 2023, I decided to do something about that need for services and began to make the vision a reality. This inner drive birthed Zenith Behavioral Health and Wellness, a clinic which is on a mission to provide essential mental health services to include medication management to the local and surrounding communities, with a special focus on the underserved population: this will be accomplished utilizing a therapeutic modality and resources. In December 2023, I found a location for my clinic in my hometown of West Memphis, AR and began renovations. Retaining this location has included incurring monthly payments for building, utilities, phones, vendor contracts, supplies, and countless other expenses that come with start-up. As we are preparing to open our doors, we face several financial challenges that must be addressed to ensure we can offer the highest quality care. To date, my family and I have spent over $40,000 to get to this point, but I am still in need of additional funding to open the doors. This clinic will play a critical role not only in my community, but surrounding communities as well.

I am seeking to raise $75,000. The funds raised through this fundraiser will be crucial in helping us provide the highest quality care and will be used for the following:

-Hiring qualified staff

-Covering initial operating costs

-Acquiring HIPPA-compliant computer equipment

-Office furnishings

-Completing necessary renovations/repairs

-Marketing to reach those in need of services

-Collaborations/Resources to provide comprehensive support to our clients
