My name is Rigo and I am assisting in setting up this fundraiser for the Sotelo family who are suffering from this devastating loss. At around 2 am on Mothers Day, Gloria Sotelo was riding as a passenger in a Mitsubishi car that was exiting on to Mission Blvd northbound of 880 when she noticed a Chevrolet truck broken down on the freeway. They stopped and helped the disabled driver push the car over to the shoulder. As she spoke to the driver of the Chevrolet truck, she stood in between the truck and the Mitsubishi, at which point a Ford F-150 hit the Mitsubishi forcing to the car to, unfortunately, hit Gloria Sotelo which led to her death. Gloria Sotelo was a kind person with a big heart. She was always willing to offer a helping hand and help anyone out who needed it, regardless of who they were. She was a proud single mother of two beautiful daughters Jessieka Sotelo (18) and Salina Sotelo (19). Not only did she leave her daughters, siblings, and elderly parents behind, but she also left behind her four month old grandson, Christian. Her family meant the world to her. Gloria was also a caretaker to her parents who counted on her on a day-to-day basis to help them out with all of their medical needs. This tragedy has left Gloria‘s entire family devastated. Gloria Sotelo‘s family is in need of help. Any funds donated will be used to give her a proper burial and aid in removing an immense burden placed on her entire family throughout this difficult time of deep sorrow and grief.
