7-day Leadership Forum @ Yale for Mersadies

Hello Everyone! Our super kind, hardworking daughter Mersadies has expressed interest in joining the National Youth Leadership Forum Business Innovation at Yale University this Summer! We would love to send her and am working really hard to try to make that happen. Mersadies is a super sweet girl, who is always willing to help anyone and everyone. She works hard and takes her education very seriously. We are asking for help to make this happen for her. Any little bit helps. Hi!

I am a Junior at Appleton North High School and have been nominated to represent my school and community at the National Youth Leadership (NYLF): Business Innovation in New Haven, Connecticut. By attending the National Youth Leadership (NYLF): Business Innovation, I will join other motivated students from around the country for an experiential Leadership/Career Exploration program.

As you can see, this will be a powerful experience, enabling me to interact with respected professionals in various fields while building relationships with students who will be my future colleagues. Attending this program will allow me to further my interest in Business and reach my career goals of becoming a business owner.

Imagine if you had been given this opportunity for a life-changing experience when you were in school and were unable to participate for lack of funds—that is why I am writing to you today. My participation in the program depends on whether I can raise $4, 500. I am investing every dollar I can of my own money to make sure I don’t miss out on this unique experience, and I am also taking on extra jobs to raise the funds I need. This will include tuition ($3725), flights and any other expense along the way.
