It is with great sadness that after a month-long battle of his condition, Lester Dave “Bybutch” O. Tortola, has joined the almighty on a sunny afternoon on July 25, 2021. He was 42 years old.
Bybutch, beloved son of Lester and Susan, affectionate brother of Empoy, Macky, Liblib and Lemon, devoted father to Blest and Ambong and responsible husband to Gaily, will always be remembered for his unwaning compassion and service to others.
His body is still in the morgue in Thailand as of today. He will be brought home by August to the Philippines, when his family from Thailand are able to complete a 14-day quarantine upon arrival in the Philippines.
It is with heartfelt desire of Bybutch to be brought home in Malaybalay where he may find his eternal rest.
If only you could have seen the joy in his face when he speaks of Bukidnon, it lights up an entire room. Can you imagine him smiling ear to ear? I think you’ll understand what it feels like to be finally home.
