Support Tida’s Journey to Safety and Reunite Our Family
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Yaser Naseri, and I’m writing to you with a plea that weighs heavily on my heart. Thirteen years ago, I was forced to flee Iran as a refugee, enduring unimaginable hardship, including surviving a shipwreck, before finally finding safety in Australia through the UNHCR.
In those years of separation, I lost my mother, a pain that will always stay with me. Now, my family—including my beloved 8-year-old niece Tida—is in Malaysia, seeking asylum. They dream of a life where they can feel secure, and where Tida can grow up in a place where her rights are protected, her future filled with possibilities. But to make this dream a reality, we need your support.
My family fled Iran due to their involvement in a political movement, a decision that puts them at great risk if they are ever forced to return. In Asia, they face constant uncertainty, unable to work, study, or live without fear of deportation.
We now have a glimmer of hope. My family is navigating the Talent Beyond Boundaries (TBB) process, which could allow them to join me in Australia and start a new life. However, the journey is urgent and fraught with challenges, especially with the overwhelming financial burden of application fees, legal costs, medical check-ups, and other expenses that add up quickly.
Why Your Help Matters:
Your support would mean the world to us. It would reunite me with my family, especially my niece Tida, after so many difficult years, and allow them to start fresh in Australia. This is not just about reuniting our family; it’s about escaping persecution and building a future filled with hope and dignity.
Here's how you can make a difference:
1 - Donate: Any amount, big or small, brings my family closer to safety in Australia. Your support will make a real difference. https://gofund.me/bcf224a4
2 - Share: Spread the world - Please share our story on your social media, within your community, and among friends and family.
Our collective support has the power to make a huge impact.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your compassion and generosity.
