Cuba Food Sovereignty Tour

Hi friends! This May I'm headed to Cuba on a Food Sovereignty Tour with the organization Food First to learn about the unique agrarian reform taking place in Cuba.  The entire nation is committing to sustainable agriculture as it strives to become completely food sovereign!

I've had a deepening interest in sustainable agriculture as it relates to food access and food security for the past several years, and I see this trip as enhancing both my interest and my knowledge about this work. My goals for participating in a tour such as this are to learn from Cuba's unique agrarian reform, to seek lasting connections with the farmers and advocates I meet, and to renew my inspiration for working on these issues with a new perspective.
