Alex's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Alex was working in the Yukon in an underground mine when he had a serious injury. He was alone at the time and would have died if not found by his fellow workers. He was air lifted to the Whitehorse hospital where they were able to save his leg and keep it stable until he could be transferred to Vancouver to receive surgery. Unfortunately, after several days they discovered that in addition to his crushed leg, his other leg was broken as well. Alex will be staying in Vancouver for an undetermined amount of time where he will be learning how to walk again and regain his strength. He hopes to eventually be transferred to the Campbell River Hospital so that he can be closer to his family. We are hoping to help raise some donations to help him through this extended recovery. Any amount you can spare would be greatly appreciated.
