Help with Hospital Stay

As many of you know back in June our son was diagnosed with Crohn's disease we have been treating him with meds.  On Tuesday July 17th we had to take Lane to the local ER due to having some discomfort.  When we arrived they found Lane to be septic so we were then transported to Children's National Hospital in Washington DC which is 2 1/2 hours from our home.   When we arrived in the ER here they found that Lane had a severe infection.  As testing began they found that he had infection around his spleen and an abscess in his LAT muscle.  The infection has also gotten into his blood.  They are treating him with high dose antibiotics.  In the process of this I lost my job of 21 years due to taking care of him and my husband has been with us.  We have not left his side very much only long enough to walk out and get a breath of air and try to grab something to eat.
