Hi, we are Drew and Laura, and this is our best friend Hank — a goofy, lovable 6-year-old English bulldog who has been by our side through everything. Hank has the biggest personality and brings joy to everyone who meets him.

Unfortunately, Hank has brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS), a condition that makes it extremely difficult for him to breathe. Recently, his breathing became so severe that he required emergency ICU care and a life-saving surgery to open his airway and give him a chance at a full, happy life.

The surgery was successful but Hank's recovery has not gone to plan and his stay in the ICU has been extended. Between the hospital bills, surgery, and recovery costs, we are facing a total of $12,000, which is $8,000 more than initially anticipated.

We want to do everything possible to give Hank the care and quality of life he deserves, but we are struggling to do it alone.
