Hi, as most of you know, my name is David Umbertus III and I am a Junior at Capuchino High School in San Bruno, CA. I am the son of David and Linda Umbertus.
I was chosen as a Delegate to represent Capuchino High and the State of California at the Congress of Future Medical Leaders, that will be held in June, 2016. This Congress is a highly selective national program honoring academically superior high school students, as myself, dedicated to the service of humanity through medicine. I was selected due to the fact that I was recognized for my outstanding grades and my leadership potential and also my desire that I have had since I was in 5th grade and this is to contribute to the profession of medicine, as a physician or medical scientist.
I am trying to raise money to go to this Congress and I am asking all of you to help me get there. This three day program, will have well known Congress Mentors, Surgeons, Scientists and Professors that I am really looking forward in meeting. Also, I will be able to view a surgery, speak with Surgeons, Scientists and Professors to answer all my questions and hopefully help me make my decision, as to what I will declare as my major in College.
It would mean so much to me if you can donate some money to help me partipate in this Congress. This program is something that only people dream of and I was nominated to represent my High School and the State of California. This is a huge honor for me and I just need the help to get there. I appreciate any amount you can donate, as every dollar counts. My goal that I am trying to reach will cover the three day conference, my hotel and airfare.
I will need to reach my goal by February 12th. Can you help me make my dream become a reality?
