This past January, we adopted a sweet little girl from a shelter. She’s now just 8 months old. Last week, she suddenly stopped eating and began vomiting, having diarrhea, and even passing blood. We rushed her to the emergency vet, and she was diagnosed with parvovirus, a serious and life-threatening illness for puppies.

It’s been over three days, and she is still experiencing severe diarrhea. She is now being fed through a nasal tube, and her recovery has been slow and uncertain.

The medical costs are overwhelming. The first day alone cost $5,160, and each additional day is adding about $3,270. We have no clear idea how long her treatment will continue, and financially, we are reaching our limits.

Before she was rescued, she was found wandering the streets. She’s not even one year old yet—and after all she’s been through, she deserves a chance at a healthy, happy life.
