Hi all - I'm Sandra, but that's not important right now!
What is important is that our friend Abby has breast cancer. Specifically, she has invasive Ductal carcinoma that requires surgery and will require treatment after, the extent of which won't be known until the surgery is done.
That's, of course, not slowing our Abby down - she's a trooper.
See? That's the Trooper face, right there.
BUT - it's gonna set her back a bit. Actually, a lot. Average medical bills to fight cancer, even with insurance, are often over $10,000 in the US, and ain't none of us got that just sitting around on our coffee tables looking as suave and debonair as our lovely cosplayer does above.
So! I thought I'd put together a GoFundMe to help her out. The bills will come soon enough, and I'd like her to not worry about those and just worry about getting back to being as fabulous as she is here.
Here's what you can do:
- DONATE - Whatever you can. Every penny that actually gets collected after fees and stuff will go directly to Abby for medical bills. Anything leftover - I'll ask Abby what happens to that and let you know.
- SHARE - Please pass this around to people who know Abby, who love her cosplay, and who just might have a spare ten grand laying around.
- SEND LOVE - Hey, cancer sucks and is scary and hard. I'm sure Abby would appreciate any love you can send her way.
