At Melbourne Kitchen, one of our team members is facing an unimaginable loss, and we are coming together to support him and his family.

At just 22 years old, Cardal Wyche III was taken far too soon in a tragic act of violence. He was doing something so simple and familiar, playing basketball, when a disagreement turned tragic. In a matter of moments, everything changed, and he was taken from his family, his friends, and a future that had barely begun.

He was someone’s son, someone’s friend, someone with dreams, goals, and a life still unfolding. No family should ever have to endure this kind of loss, and no moment of anger should end in something so permanent. His absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled, and those who knew and loved him are left holding onto memories that now mean everything.

During this incredibly difficult time, we are coming together as a community to support his family as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.
