Hi my name is Amber, some may know that in January our Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 liver disease and is in End Stage Liver failure. He is in the process of getting on the List for a Liver Transplant at UCLA. Our Mom and Dad have made many trips to UCLA for a very thorough work up for the transplant. We are almost there, waiting on Insurance and then hopefully he can be placed on the transplant list!! Once he is listed we are all praying and hoping that the transplant will happen sooner rather than later. The waiting game has been hard and his health has declined rapidly the last few months! If you know my Dad, you know that he is one of the strongest and most amazing men you have met!

Asking for help is something My mom and Dad would never do on their own so we (myself and my siblings) have decided that we need to step in and request some help! Our Dad is very sick and at this time can no longer work! He tried very hard to work as long as he could however it’s time to rest and prepare for the transplant! Our Mom is now having to take some time away from her Daycare to care for him and because of the severity of the surgery she will also have to care for him during the intense recovery! We are just wanting to put her mind at ease as she has already felt the stress that goes along with caring for a sick loved one! If you cannot donate every prayer during this process for my dad and our family is greatly appreciated!
