Support Nancy’s Fight with Breast Cancer!

Donation protected
As most of you have seen by now, my beautiful sister Nancy has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. With this diagnosis comes so much testing, so much time off work and SO many expenses! She has been told to expect a long recovery road ahead of her following her double mastectomy but one that will ultimately save her life! These funds will be used to help for very expensive copays and surgeries and also to help offset Nancy being out of work for a minimum of 6-8 weeks (this first go around) so their lives can stay as normal and easy as possible while recovering and waiting for her next set of surgeries!

We are SO thankful to everyone who’s reached out with their sweet words of encouragement, asking all the ways they can help and especially your prayers for Nancy and our family ❤️ She will need all of the positivity and uplifting we can give her while she’s busy KICKING CANCERS ASS!!!

Below I will add what Nancy has perfectly written about her diagnoses and the importance of testing!

It’s Breast Cancer awareness month! And I want you all to be aware and get your screening mammogram! It’s really easy, in and out in 20 minutes, and can save your life - I know it saved mine!

I have a family history of BC and so many sweet friends who have been diagnosed young. I also have an autoimmune disease and a history of dysplastic colon polyps. So I had my screening mammogram scheduled the week of my 40th birthday. 2 mammograms, several biopsies, bloodwork, an MRI, multiple doctors appointments, tons of phone calls, genetic testing, and showing my boobs to way more people than I want in the last 5 weeks later- I was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple of weeks ago. It’s a very harrowing call to get, filled with a lot of anxiety - and way too much waiting. It won’t be an easy road - but I will be OK - all because I got my mammogram! We caught it very very early - Stage 0 HR+ micropapillary DCIS. Lots of appointments and several surgeries in my future - but I have great family and friends beside me and an amazing medical team that I am so grateful for helping me make informed decisions about treatment. I’m so very lucky!
