We are a family consists of 6 members. We are 4 siblings with Mum and Dad. Ahlam, she’s a law student in her third year of college. From her young she used to dream big and she always wanted to a successful woman. Ahmed, he’s a high school student, he had more one year to start his college life, he has an interest in technology believing it’s the field that will bring him success. Jowan, she’s only 7 years old and from her age you expect how lovely and energetic she is.

We used to have a calm and a pleasant life, we had a beautiful house where we had all of our happy memories from the childhood to the adulthood. Everything has suddenly changed, now our dad has struggles to perform his work well and he may lose his job at any moment, our mom has no house to take care of, we can’t go to school or college to get our education.

Since the beginning of the war we have been living in intolerable levels of hardship, we have been evacuating from a place to another seeking for a shelter but in reality there is no safe shelter here. We evacuated for five times and every time danger looms closer. It is really hard to find filling food and clear water and if we find any the prices are insane, we sleep on the floor with empty stomach and terrified soul. We have lost our lovely and cozy house and neighbourhood where we used to live, laugh, sing, dream and feel safe together. All of our happy memories have been stolen from us and all we have now is a stone pile.
