The Stewart's Flooded Home

As a friend of the Stewarts, I wanted to do something that would help them during their time of hardship.  They are a family of 5 with three young kids and no current place to live.

While the Stewarts were away on vacation in FL their heating systems failed and the pipes burst. Jay Stewart was scheduled to leave FL first and return home to work.  Nicole was going to continue on vacation with the family and return home a week later. 

When Jay got home he was greeted with a nightmare.  The house was flooded and significant damage was made to the kitchen, basement/playroom  and garage.  Large portions of the walls, ceilings and hardwood floors will need to be gutted.  

Nicole immediately flew home once she received the news but luckily was able to temporarily leave the kids in FL with their parents.  The Stewart’s are not going to be able to stay in the house while repairs are made.

Although insurance will coverage a significant portion of the damage there will be things that are not covered.  I know it would mean a lot to Stewart Family to receive support from friends and family while they rebuild.
