Sophie

Sophie is an amazing person that brings brightness into anyone life she touches. She’s my rock since I was born. She takes care of everyone around her, but on Thursday of last week she had an asthma attack and her lungs gave up. She was put on a ventilator but her body refused that, so the last chance was a machine called ECMO. It had a 40% survival rate but she was already within hours of her body completely giving up. Lungs collapsed and life support was the only option. Thank god for all the support from the doctors and nurses at OMRC. She has a long road ahead of her but she is slowly recovering, few more surgeries ahead of her. Anything that anyone is willing to give to help will be going to Sophie’s care, medical bills and helping support her 6 year old daughter while Sophie is going through all of this. Everything and anything is very much appreciated.
