Brandi's Stroke Recovery

On November 23rd, 2015 (the day before Thanksgiving) Brandi Lee Byers was at work like any other day when she suffered a debilitating stroke. She spent ten days in two different hospitals, and was then transferred to Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital in Salem, NH.
After insurance benefits for hospitalization ran out, she was released to go home and is receiving in home PT and OT.
Brandi is a lifelong resident of Derry, NH and a single parent of three children: Gavin - 12, Lilyana - 11, and Matthew - 4.
Brandi has always worked full-time to support her family. The stroke has left her with left side numbness and she is unable to walk. Her vision is also impaired. It will be a long road of physical and occupational therapy. Results are unknown at this time, but we are hopeful that she will recover enough to walk again.
Brandi is unable to be left alone and requires 24/7 care from a trained person to help her in her home. Certain agencies have been contacted and a mountain of paperwork has been started for her to receive benefits, but it's a long process and in the meantime she has limited income to support herself and her three kids.
