Hughie's Animals - providing for their care

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Hughie Buell, aka 'The Cowboy.' He passed away peacefully Jan 20, 2022.

Those who knew Hugh, know that nothing in this world meant more to him than his animals, including his faithful black lab, Linda, two horses, seven cats and a myriad of chickens. All his animals are currently in care, but some will require medical attention before they are placed in forever loving homes.

In particular, his black lab, Linda, who has limited use of her hind end ( suspect  nerve damage or possibly disc issues). Diagnostics, therapy and recovery are estimated to run upwards of $8000. Hugh's horses are currently in care, one requires some ongoing corrective foot care and both will be soon be made available for adoption into forever homes. If more monies are raised than required, extra funds will be donated to animal charities in Hugh's memory.
