Support Mike’s Stroke Recovery
Donation protected
On February 5, 2024, my father in-law, Mike Greenwood, suffered a major stroke at the age of 60. He then went on to have another stroke on February 19th, and a third stroke on February 24th. The multiple strokes have affected his left side, affected his vision, the inability to move his left arm or leg, and has left him wheelchair bound. Prior to this devastating event, Mike was an active man, co-owned a construction business, loved riding motorcycles, and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
This health crisis has led to a lot of heartache as well as the daunting task of months of intensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and looming financial burdens. Mike will need to relearn how to walk and perform self-care tasks. The road ahead is long and grueling — many accommodations will be required for a successful recovery, and we want to give him the best chance possible. Because of the physical shape that the stroke has left him in, Mike has been unable to return to work.
My name is Meagan, Mike’s daughter in-law, and I will be transferring your generous contributions directly to him. I am humbly asking for any support you would be able to give to help him with these mounting expenses. The medical and living costs associated with a stroke and stroke recovery can be overwhelming, and we are reaching out to our community for help. Your generosity can make a significant difference in alleviating the financial burden that my dear father in-law is facing during this difficult time.
Your support means the world to us. Thank you for your kindness and consideration!
