Hi, my name is Alayna, and this is Olaf. I adopted him after my Mom passed away from cancer in 2019.

 

Olaf is one of the only belongings I was able to inherit after she passed. He is all I have left of her, so he is truly the most special thing in my life.

 

I rushed him to the emergency vet two nights ago for a urinary blockage. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford the recommended hospitalization of $4,000 (2 nights for surgery and observation), I had to choose the cheaper alternative of $450 to unblock him.

 

The cheaper alternative came with a high risk of Olaf potentially blocking again, which is what happened.

 

I was let go from my job a few weeks ago and had to borrow the $450 to take him in the other night. I'm quite literally living on a prayer right now while looking for another job.

 

I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I had to put him down just because of my current financial situation.

 

I am pleading for ANY help to save his life as the fatality window is 3-6 days and they require atleast half of the cost before they begin the surgery. Olaf is still eagerly drinking water and eating food signifying that he most definitely has the will to live.

 

I do not ask for help unless I've exhausted all resources and possibilities. And I truly need help right now.

 

PLEASE help me save Olaf's life. Please.
