Hi, my name is Bradley Strayer. I have created this GoFundMe platform to raise funds to help pay for surgery for my boxer, Cooper. The other night we were driving and stopped as some deer were crossing the road. Cooper's window was partially open, and being the  impulsive boxer that he is, he jumped out after the deer while still attached to his seat leash. Fortunately it was long enough to let him reach the ground. But I could tell by his crys and yelps, poor Cooper was in a lot of pain.  I quickly got him back in the car, and noticed his rear right foot dangling. I took Cooper to Animal Emergency but was not allowed to enter the building due to Covid19. So I had to leave my poor Cooper and wait to find out what the X-rays revealed. Finally, at 3am, I found out that Cooper had suffered a compound fracture on both his tibia and fibula! Cooper's leg will require repair surgery to avoid amputation. This means I have to find a vetenary orthopedic surgeon by early next week to avoid having to rebreak his leg. And I was told the cost would be around $5000-$6000 to pay for his procedure. Cooper is four and a half and was built for running (he's the blur). The thought of Cooper not being able to run again breaks my heart to no end. I bring Cooper with me everywhere I go. He is my companion and best friend. I know that if the break were on the other foot, Cooper would do everything possible to help me. So please help me to raise these much needed funds for my poor busted buddy. A humble donation and a share, will be greatly appreciated by myself and especially Cooper.
