Darlene was struck with Polio in the 1950s. Although this Angel can not fly, she has helped many people. Years ago, Darlene took an elderly man home who needed a ride. Within months this retired Veteran had a new home at Darlene`s house. She took care of him for years before he passed on of cancer. But that`s Darlene.

Darlene has been confined to her wheelchair for over 20 years. Her wheelchair today is in pieces; she needs her new wheelchair. However, the company told her she must pay $3000 dollars, which is her 20% before they would start building her new chair. All extra monies will go to Darlene to help with her very old Mobility Van.
